Cardio & Core (or Hearts, Legs, Tums & Bums)
A 55 minute class combining a mixture of aerobics [for the heart] and body conditioning[ for the legs tums and bums] The first half is aerobic exercise starting off with an appropriate warm up followed by the main workout phase which is a mixture of low and high impact moves designed to first raise the pulse and then work the heart and lungs. |

Whilst a certain modicum of coordination is desirable the classes are all very choreography friendly concentrating on technique and intensity rather than complicated routines. I don't try and reinvent the wheel where choreography is concerned it all very basic so you are able to get benefit straight away…. The second half is body conditioning where we tend to concentrate
on tums,bums,backs and legs using a variety of different methods from
traditional weight free body conditioning to Pilates and Yoga inspired
methods all taught with safety and effectiveness' in mind.

If Tuesdays are the only time convenient to you I always give lots of low options so beginners and folk who don't want to do as much can still come along and get benefit. For this class you will need appropriate clothing a good pair of trainers, water bottle and a non slip yoga style mat. If you are planning on coming along please download a 'Health Form' and fill it in before coming to class or submit it online 24 hours before attending the class.
